Our Roots
Founded by Hannah Richardson, Montessori Makers Learning is shaped by more than two decades of experience across Montessori classrooms, coaching, and leadership.
Hannah’s work has always centered on one goal — equipping educators to connect philosophy with practice.
Montessori Makers Learning began as a literacy initiative and has grown into a broader movement for modern learning, built on a belief that Montessori can meet every child — when adults have the right tools.

Montessori Makers is a living ecosystem of work rooted in justice, clarity, and belonging. Across our branches, we support the full landscape of Montessori life — leadership, learning, systems, storytelling, hiring, and community. Rather than operating as separate brands, these efforts are interconnected expressions of the same purpose: helping adults build environments where children, educators, and communities can thrive. Each branch approaches that purpose through its own lens, and together they form a coherent whole — a body of work grounded in Montessori principles and responsive to the realities of today’s schools.
